Nachkommenschaft

Nicht nur so manche fiktionale Technologie aus der Science-Fiction könnte in ferner Zukunft Realität werden. Auch die ein oder andere erfundene Sprache ist womöglich gar nicht so ausgedacht, wie man gemeinhin dachte.

Was uns heute als völlig selbstverständliche und ewig andauernde Technologie vorkommt, könnte ganz schnell und unerwartet durch etwas schon längst Vergessenes ersetzt werden.

Gibt es Paralleluniversen? Spaltet sich in jedem unserer Augenblicke ein alternatives Universum ab und lässt das Multiversum anwachsen? Das Problem mit unserer menschlichen und sehr beschränkten Sicht auf die Welt ist, dass wir das nie herausfinden werden.

Ich fand ja schon immer die Geschichten und Zeichnungen von Wilhelm Busch alles andere als für Kinder geeignet. Im Grunde sind sie eine grandiose Vorlage für ziemlich krasse Horrorstreifen. Hat sich eigentlich schon jemand die Filmrechte an Buschs Geschichten gesichert?

Wir werden durch zahlreiche Medien über Politik informiert und ständig beeinflusst. Leider glauben wir nur allzu schnell, dass unsere politische Meinung der Wahrheit entspricht. Wir vermögen aus unseren physisch begrenzten Körpern hinauszublicken in unsere Umwelt. Dabei suchen schon wir immer die Grenze des wahrnehmbaren Raums auf der Erde und versuchen durch Expeditionen dorthin zu kommen. Mit Teleskopen suchen wir die Weite des Alls ab und versuchen herauszufinden, was sich an dessen Grenze verbirgt. Haben wir das irgendwann einmal geschafft, wird es sicher eine neue Grenze geben, die wir erreichen möchten.

Die Erde wird sich in den nächsten Jahrzehnten wandeln und ob wir den Wandel miterleben dürfen, ist noch nicht gewiss. Aber ich bin ganz zuversichtlich, dass ein paar Exemplare von uns es bis dahin schaffen werden. Wahrscheinlich werden sie aber wieder von Null anfangen müssen.

In unserer Phantasie durchleben wir Abenteuer und stellen uns spannende Welten vor. Sobald wir allerdings versuchen, diese Abenteuer in der realen Welt nachzustellen, zerplatzt nicht selten die Seifenblase unserer Vorstellungskraft und wird gnadenlos mit der Realität konfrontiert.

Ehrensache
