Nicht nur so manche fiktionale Technologie aus der Science-Fiction könnte in ferner Zukunft Realität werden. Auch die ein oder andere erfundene Sprache ist womöglich gar nicht so ausgedacht, wie man gemeinhin dachte.

Wir vermögen aus unseren physisch begrenzten Körpern hinauszublicken in unsere Umwelt. Dabei suchen schon wir immer die Grenze des wahrnehmbaren Raums auf der Erde und versuchen durch Expeditionen dorthin zu kommen. Die Erde wird sich in den nächsten Jahrzehnten wandeln und ob wir den Wandel miterleben dürfen, ist noch nicht gewiss. Aber ich bin ganz zuversichtlich, dass ein paar Exemplare von uns es bis dahin schaffen werden. Wahrscheinlich werden sie aber wieder von Null anfangen müssen.

In unserer Phantasie durchleben wir Abenteuer und stellen uns spannende Welten vor. Sobald wir allerdings versuchen, diese Abenteuer in der realen Welt nachzustellen, zerplatzt nicht selten die Seifenblase unserer Vorstellungskraft und wird gnadenlos mit der Realität konfrontiert.
