Schon längst sind vermeintlich mächtige Staaten von globalen Konzernen abhängig und ihre Lenker korrumpiert. Das moralische Dilemma der Zeitreise in die Vergangenheit und der Möglichkeit, einen Menschen namens Hitler zu ermorden, bevor er Millionen Menschen ermorden lässt oder aber Mord prinzipiell abzulehnen und dadurch Millionen Leben zu verdammen, mal aus einem anderen Blickwinkel.

Ich bin ja felsenfest davon überzeugt, dass, auch wenn ab und zu die Frau in einer heterosexuellen Partnerschaft kürzer lebt als der Mann, der Mann als solches selten ohne die Frau zu überleben imstande ist. Einfach, weil Vernunft früher, jetzt und auch in Zukunft ein uns nicht so geläufiges Konzept ist.

Auch wenn wir dereinst die Erde verlassen werden, werden wir wohl all unsere Sehnsüchte und Hoffnungen (und alle Ängste und Idiotien) mit uns nehmen.

Maskerade

Glück messen zu wollen, ist ein beliebtes Verfahren, um eine gut funktionierende Gesellschaft zu erkennen. Doch die Glücksparameter sind nicht unmanipulierbar. Nur weil die Menschen sagen oder so aussehen, dass sie glücklich seien, heißt das noch lange nicht, dass sie wirklich glücklich sind.

Nicht zum ersten Mal frage ich mich, ob die Geschicke der Menschheit nicht doch besser nicht (!) von Menschen gestaltet werden sollten. Da die Machtkonzentration mehr und mehr von den Menschen weg hin zu megalomanen Milliardären mit kruden Weltansichten wandert, wäre eine fürsorgliche KI womöglich nicht die schlechteste Alternative.

Schon sehr früh bemerkten Wissenschaftler_innen, dass sie die Prozesse hyperkomplexer KI-Systeme nicht mehr wirklich nachvollziehen können. Auch wenn die angestrebten Resultate faszinierend sind, verwundert es einen schon, dass derlei unkontrollierbare Instrumente auf hochgradig kritische Infrastrukturen losgelassen werden.

Da darf es einen nicht überraschen, wenn nicht nur die Prozesse unverstanden bleiben, sondern auch die Konsequenzen und Kolateraleffekte unberechenbar sind.

Koexistenz

Die Vorstellung einer Koexistenz von Künstlicher Intelligenz und der Menschheit driftet ziemlich weit auseinander, abhängig davon, ob man die KI oder die Menschen fragt.

Da bekommt der Kommentar der Science-Fiction-Autorin Joanna Maciejewska vom 29.03.2024 auf X einen ganz neuen Drive:

„Weißt du, was das größte Problem daran ist, alles auf KI zu setzen? Die falsche Richtung. Ich möchte, dass KI meine Wäsche wäscht und mein Geschirr spült, damit ich Kunst schaffen und schreiben kann – und nicht, dass die KI meine Kunst macht und für mich schreibt, damit ich meine Wäsche waschen und mein Geschirr spülen kann.“

Die Robotik versucht immer realistischer wirkende Abbilder des Menschen zu kreieren.

Und wenn es dann mal so sein wird, dass wir keinen Unterschied zwischen künstlicher und biologischer Lebensform mehr feststellen können, ist’s auch wieder nicht recht.

Mit Träumen ist das so eine Sache. Einerseits verarbeiten wir reale Ereignisse in unseren Träumen … andererseits tun wir das nicht immer wirklich auf eine kontrollierte oder uns zuträgliche Art und Weise.

Don Juan

Das Ausnutzen von Menschen funktioniert in beide Richtungen und nimmt manchmal einen anderen Verlauf als erwartet.

Unterschätzt man die vermeintlich Schwachen und Ausgestoßenen, darf man sich am Ende nicht darüber beschweren, wenn sie vereint Rache nehmen.

Es gab eine Zeit, in der die noch verbliebenen echten Monster während Halloween endlich einmal sie selbst sein und unter den Menschen wandeln konnten. Leider wurden die Kinder mit der Zeit immer desensibilisierter und verloren ihre Angst vor den alten Klassikern.

Auch Monster müssen eben mit der Zeit gehen und sich als Dienstleister für ihre Zielgruppe neu erfinden.
